A luer slip syringe (also known as a non-luer lock syringe) is a syringe that doesn’t have the luer lock securing system for the needle. Needles are simply pushed onto the syringe and not locked securely into place. Luer slip syringes are generally cheaper than other varieties as they don’t have the locking feature and so are easier to produce.
